Welcome to Bolth—a place where I can connect the dots between the things that shape my life: motherhood, wellness, faith, and storytelling.
I’m Jessica, and I’m so excited to invite you into this new space. Bolth is a blend of the things I hold dear, both the messy and the meaningful. It’s the balance of motherhood, faith, creativity, and wellness coming together to form a life of enjoying and glorifying God.
If you’re here, you’re probably wondering what Bolth really means. It’s a play on the word “both,” because in this space, we embrace it all. The joy of creating films while being a mom to two little girls, and the contentment that comes from living a more intentional, stewardship-focused life.
It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. There are so many beautiful moments––ones I never want to miss or wish away. Which brings me to grace. Learning to show myself grace, like Jesus does, because I'm far from perfect. Perfection isn't the goal. I hope that as you read, you’ll find inspiration, practical tips, and the encouragement you need in your own life––no matter the season.
As a mom to two toddlers, Margo and Harper, I’ve learned that wellness isn’t just about products or routines—it’s about living a life that is full and rich with worship. It’s about being intentional with my time, investing in my family’s spiritual health, and showing my girls what it looks like to live with joy, faith, and a heart for God.
You’ll find stories here about the lessons I’ve learned as a mom, my journey through wellness, and even a few behind-the-scenes glimpses from my life as a filmmaker. I still make films and share the experiences with my daughters. I love showing them how stories come to life and letting them experience the magic of being on set alongside me.
This blog is my heart’s overflow, and I want it to be a place where you feel seen, heard, and inspired. Whether you’re looking for tips on living a healthier life, insights on finding balance as a mom, or just a little encouragement in your faith journey, I’m here to share what’s been working for me and what’s been on my heart.
Stay tuned for more, and thanks for being part of this new chapter.
With love,
Jessica
